POSITION OVERVIEW
The MDM Functional Analyst is responsible as a key member of Item / Content IT teams to support and build short and long-term master data management strategies and solutions. As an experienced team member, the position will include providing best practices and implementation expertise on:
  • Realizing master data management strategies by serving as the overall subject matter expert for the initiative
  • Gathering functional and technical requirements as inputs into the overall solution design
  • Performing fit/gap assessment of SAP MDM to the future state vision
  • Working through process and functional design activities, including other team resources on ABAP and XI development
  • Supporting application design, build, test, and deploy activities for SAP MDM and all integrating applications
  • Planning, developing, executing data conversion routines utilizing the SAP MDM Import Manager
  • Driving user acceptance test planning and execution through all phases of blueprint, realization, go-live, rollout, and post implementation support

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    - Support business requirements through creatively resolving Master Data issues data modeling, defining data management strategies and standards
    - Drive identifying system requirements, designing, prototyping, building and testing solutions for data management, including the development of supporting documentation and deliverables
    - Support training to peers as well as business stakeholders, including the process of defining support procedures and organizations

    QUALIFICATIONS
    - Bachelors degree, Computer Science
    - 3-5 years SAP Management Consulting
    - 1-2 years SAP MDM Design and Implementation
    - 3-5 years Data Management and Strategy
    - 1-2 years Account/Item Hierarchy/Categorization design and development
    - Data Harmonization-understanding of data management strategies and harmonization across businesses and systems
    - IT Architecture Strategies-ability to discuss and provide insights/suggestions to landscape options for SAP instances and integration with legacy systems
    - Master Data Schema Development-hands on experience in working with Master data hierarchies, taxonomies, business rules and migration/synchronization strategies that span across an organization
