Mechanical Design Engineer

CDI has an urgent need for a Mechanical design Engineer for space flight design. This long term assignment @ a site in Howard County Maryland offers paid vacation, Holiday pay and additional benefits. There is potential for conversion to direct employment with our client.

Required:
The candidate must have at least a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. He or she must have a minimum of 7 years experience in performing mechanical design and development of space instruments or equivalent including some mechanism design experience. He or she must be experienced with Pro-E, Windchill, rack and stack, tolerances, thermal and space craft must have the ability to work well in a team environment and to carry tasks to completion.

Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship .
