PSC is currently looking for a Manufacturing System Development Specialist to join our team in North Charleston, SC.

Will consider possible relocation assistance to North Charleston, SC

Position Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to a standardized escalated process for technical support issues
  • Work with vendors to drive implementation for new development and maintenance of complex Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and data collection systems
  • Interact with customers at all levels to recommend, evaluate and implement improvements to existing systems.
  • Identify new opportunities or process improvements that could evolve into new projects.
  • Ensure PMM process is followed.
  • Communicate with customers discussing workload, priorities and resource allocation.
  • Prepare work plan for all assignments and regular progress reports for team leader or manager.

    Required Skills:
  • 2 years experience in C / C++ programming
  • 2 years experience SQL programming (queries, stored procedures)
  • 2 years experience manufacturing systems expertise
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work with minimum supervision

    Desired Skills:
  • Wonderware experience

    Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree preferred or a equivalent amount of education and work experience

    Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • Wonderware certifications a plus
  • PM certification a plus
