Position description:
Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications in an IBM Mainframe environment. Supports and/or installs software applications. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

The qualified candidate will be an expert in the following arenas:
-Technical problem solving & trouble-shooting.
-Root-cause analysis.
-DB2 application architecture.
-SQL application architecture.
-Developing in Ab Initio.

Experience/Skills
In order to be considered for this position the candidate MUST have experience in a development role using the following technologies:

Operating Systems:
-OS390, Ab Initio, HP-UX, Linux, UNIX.

Technical Skills:
-BMC Utilities, COBOL, DB2, IBM Utilities, JCL, SQL.

Education:
-Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
