Description
Looking for a MFC, RDBMS developer for a 18 months contract in Hotsprings, AR. Candidates must have real experience in MFC coding and not just using a Wizard. We need people who understand what it means to have a huge project to code while at the same time having to support issues that come up on a daily basis which negatively impact production. The experience of having to do both support and design at the same time under production is invaluable. Purpose: Research C++ developers are the subject matter experts on designing, coding,testing, deploying, debugging and documenting software applications. Functions: Provide training, documented processes regarding all software technology implemented or forecasted. Work alongside development staff to help understand, educate and design robust solutions for our business needs. Understand and apply new software and hardware technologies as necessary. Demonstrated ability to work within an established timeframe to complete projects. Research software and hardware and make recommendations. Ability to think outside of the box. Required Skills: Familiarity with full life cycle development of application methodologies using the following: MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes), C, and C++, VC6, VS.Net 7.0, VSS & third party components. Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts. High quality written & verbal communication skills. Work Flow Management and Document Imaging solution skills. Education: AAS Degree in CS, Information Management/Technology, related field or equivalent education.
