GENERAL FUNCTION:
Manages professional employees and/or supervisors; may manage business support, technical or production staff. The position is on the Managerial/Leadership ladder at level 2.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensures that project staffing and resource needs are met in an assigned area. Ensures project completion on time and within budget.
2. Establishes training and development of staff.
3. Develops processes and procedures to implement functional strategies
4. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
5. Interprets business issues and adapts work priorities in own area.
6. Anticipates and interprets customer needs to identify solutions.
7. Has in-depth expertise in own discipline and knowledge of the related disciplines.
8. Manages budget for own area and allocates resources accordingly.
9. Other duties as required.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include career development and coaching, performance management, and pay determination and communication.df-tc

Experience/Skills


MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:


Requires 3-4 years of prior management/leadership experience. Requires 4-6 years of prior technical experience. Undergraduate degree preferred.
