Description
Adecco is currently searching for a Management Information Systems (MIS) analyst for one of its clients in the Brandon area. The position will be responsible for regular reporting tasks as well as participation in a variety of projects and technical challenges in the fraud department of a leading financial institute. The analyst will need to show the ability to work well independently and as part of a team, have strong PowerPoint, Excel and Access skills. The position will also require the ability to demonstrate attention to detail and time management. The MIS Analyst will be required to work with business analysts, operations and project management to assist in automating existing manual reporting processes, building web based reporting solutions and dashboards. Additionally, the workload will include fast turnaround of ad-hoc reports and other technical end user support for operations.df-tc

Experience/Skills
•BA/BS in related field
•Strong computer skills in, but not limited to:
oMS Access
oMS Excel
oMS PowerPoint
•A fundamental understanding of data models and experience with various databases.
•Experience with web structure and internet protocols.
•Basic experience and ability to learn multiple Reporting/Analytic tools such as Business Objects, Hyperion’s Brio, SAS, SQL.
•Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
•Ability to multi-task.
•Understanding of key business and operations concepts
•Ability to organize, plan, analyze and present data from different sources.
•Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive process change.
•Ability to adapt quickly to change and to support a multitude of businesses.
•Able to work with a varied group of financial internal customers as well as the full hierarchy of management levels (including managing directors and above).
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•SQL and/or VBA familiarity recommended
