Description
Responsible for the management of the Management Information Systems Department maintaining the systems, applications, hardware configuration, workstations, servers, and networks for a multi-site environment, assuring all systems are maintained in a technologically state-of-the-art status within available resources and an experienced staff is attracted and provided with sufficient training to properly respond to all company and management requests in a timely manner. Will manage a technology department of up to 25 individuals.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Coordinates MIS operations workflow to assure staffing levels are adjusted appropriately to meet all user requirements and all systems, applications, servers, workstations, and network software are maintained in a current and efficiently operational state.

2. Supervises assigned personnel, allocates work, and makes decisions regarding employment, performance appraisals, training and development, corrective actions, promotions, and terminations, assuring that decisions are according to established company policies and/or procedures.

3. Possesses thorough knowledge of all software and hardware trends and developments.
Maintains personal knowledge base in a current and informed state by contact with others in the industry and the community.

4. Evaluates MIS resources and properly projects needs and upgrades to assure that MIS
capabilities are sufficient to meet the growth projections of the company and maintain the
company=E2=80=99s technological capabilities at a level that will enhance the company=E2=80=99s position in the
industry.

5. Maintains physical and data security of systems, applications, network, equipment, software,
access methods, data security.

6. Performs additional duties as requested.

POSITION PREFERENCES:

1. Degree in computer science or MIS.
2. Minimum ten to fifteen years experience in a multi-site MIS Department; MCSE or CNE required.
3. Minimum five years management in an MIS environment.
4. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills with ability to conduct professional contacts and
training with individuals of varying levels of authority


Salary - $100,000- $150,000
