Description
On behalf of a Casino-Hotel Resort in Emmetsburg, Iowa, Casino Careers Online is seeking an MIS Manager.

Responsibilities include:

Responsible for installation, maintenance, support/training on all computer hardware, computer software, networks and peripheral equipment. Provide expert knowledge and support for business applications as well as technical support and monitoring 24/7.

Must be able to work in a start-up environment with knowledge of gaming facility and hospitality systems

Responsible for coordinating and directing the implementation of all MIS workload.

Assure the protection and safekeeping of all company data inlcluding databases, hotel systems, video game machine tracking systems and other sensitive information.

Provide reports and information needed by management.

Must be able to train users with proper knowledge to enable quality use of computer systems.

Keep computers, networks and all peripheral equipment maintained and operational.

Perform proper backup procedures to protect company data.

Perform preventive maintenance procedures on computer hardware, software and other equipment.

This position reports directly to the General Manager -

Requirements:

3+ years MIS experience in installing, configuring and supporting business applications.

Hands-on experience in systems/application, administration and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of hospitality systems a plus -

Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage people.

Must be able to manage several tasks at one time.

Decision maker that has the ability to "think out of the box."

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Knowledge of all company related inofrmation with the ability to work with many departments.
