Description
This position is for one of my clients based on the Eastern Edge of Tempe, AZ a suburb of Phoenix. Reporting directly to the CIO, you will be responsible for all IT functions at this division of my manufacturing company.

As a hands-on manager you will get involved in the development of applications; Database Administration; User needs and analysis; People Management; and Vendor negotiations.
This position requires someone to be a team player, yet stand alone to take care of all day to day IT Functions. Successful candidate will have solid experience developing/programming with PICK BASIC, have solid HP UX environment knowledge; Any experience Administrating and managing a Unidata Database; as well as skills with Dataflo (Epicor, formerly Dataworks) would be highly desired.
You will be managing a perm staff of 1.5 employees which consists of a PC/LAN Admin and a part network person. Other key people you will be managing is a team of Dataflo Developers.
The right candidate for this position could be a solid developer, with strong leadership qualities. Or a strong project manager/mis manager with hands-on development skills who is not afraid to role up his/her hands to knock out some code.
