JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Sr. MIS Analyst. Responsibilities will include assisting the Sr. MIS Analyst in running day-to-day routines, managing, supporting, maintaining, and updating existing database applications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Review, analyze and evaluate the Customer Contact Center's reporting needs;
? Develop, produce and enhance various Sales and Production reports using all available tools including Microsoft Access, SQL Server, and Visual Basic;
? Assist in providing technical support for internal/external reporting systems;
? Conduct periodic analysis of internal reporting systems and procedures for the purpose of improving efficiency, increasing customer satisfaction, reducing expenses, identifying errors and/or preventing losses;
? Develop effective, on-going working relationships with all levels of staff in the Contact Center to advance business goals;
? Produce ad hoc reports as requested;
? Contribute to the overall strategy of providing excellent service to Chevy Chase Bank customers and employees.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Skills/Abilities
? In-depth knowledge of Microsoft products including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
? Experience with object oriented programming, preferably Visual Basic or Visual Basic for Applications.
? Familiar with a variety of database concepts, practices and procedures;
? Strong organizational skills and detail orientation;
? Excellent written and oral communication skills;
? Ability to work independently and meet deadlines;
? Aptitude to think in abstract terms.

Experience
? Minimum 1 years of experience in database design, programming and maintenance;
? Minimum 1 years of experience in an object oriented programming language preferably Visual Basic;
? Minimum 1 years of experience with Windows in a LAN/WAN environment;

Education
? Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification;
? Related work experience considered.df-tc
