PEROT SYSTEMS CORPORATION is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. It is currently looking for an SAP MM/PP Principal Consultant to join our team.

***No relocation is required, but the ability to travel up to 100% is necessary**
WORK LOCATION VIRTUAL, can reside anywhere in the US near a major airport.

Job Responsibilities:
The role of consultant will be to lead the SAP MM/PP portion from the initial design and discovery phase through the project implementation and support.

Typically, the Principal Consultant works as a consulting team member or an individual technical consultant in the development of technical or business solutions within consulting practice area. Under moderate supervision, works on projects of average difficulty, usually involving single products or single platforms. Analyses customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing infrastructure and applies principles, concepts and techniques of skills in developing solutions and strategies. Delivers consulting project activities requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills. Interacts with company and client managers and identifies additional solutions in client organization. Serves as a pre-sales support specialist through the development of materials when needed in support of more senior consultants. Performance is typically measured by deliverables and/or solutions within budgeted hours.


Required Skills:

  • Qualified candidates must have at least 6 years related SAP MM/PP experience.
  • Broad understanding of SAP both from a functional and technical perspective.
  • Extensive Hands-on SAP MM/PP Configuration expertise
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of the SAP implementation lifecycle and a solid grasp of the ASAP Methodology.
  • Must have a good grasp of project and program management methods and tools.
  • Have participated in multiple (at least four) successful SAP implementations (full life cycle).
  • Strong core consulting skills - communication, organization and planning, client facing and interpersonal.
  • A minimum of 2 full life cycle SAP implementations as the lead MM or PP expert.
  • Experienced in scoping, requirements gathering/definition, configuration, testing, cutover and support.
  • Designed and developed functional specifications for MM/PP and implementations and integrations.
  • Well-developed system problem solving skills having solved complex business problems within or across functional areas in SAP.


Desired Skills:

  • Some leadership experience in a Big 5 organization is preferred.


Minimum Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred


Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:

  • SAP MM or PP certification preferred
  • Other SAP certifications a plus
