MMIS Developer. Cobol/SQL Responsibilities to include: Support production and enhancement of existing MMIS. Analyze, design, code and test modifications to existing batch and online programs. Analyze, and identify problems in the system, and provide solutions for those problems. Write responses and produce correspondence for customer service requests. Create and test JCL. Document changes and enhancements to the MMIS as well as maintain system and user documentation.- Contract rate is competitive! Local candidates preferred! - 4+ years experience in a programming and/or analysis position.- 4+ years experience in Cobol in a Mainframe environment, with a combination of DB2, SQL, VSAM, CICS, JCL and TSO- Experience with healthcare systems, as well as supporting clients in a production environment.- Experience with Easytrieve Plus and MS Word. - Experience with Endevor would also be a plus.- One year claims processing experience.- Strong DB2 and SQL skills.
