Description

This contract-to-hire position requires an experienced Web Developer with excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills, coupled with a passion for delivering high quality SharePoint solutions.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing global architecture, methodology and standards of Microsoft centric (custom and packaged) SharePoint applications
  • Analysis, design, development, integration, configuration, implementation and support of SharePoint applications
  • Developing detailed functional design, technical design, and test specifications that fully satisfy business requirements for functional areas including finance, manufacturing, engineering, marketing, sales, supply chain, and human resources
  • Designing, configuring, integrating, testing and debugging SharePoint solutions
  • Assisting with user training and third-line support activities as necessary to ensure successful adoption of SharePoint systems
  • Recommending system changes and enhancements in consultation with business users and IT colleaguesdf-tc

    Experience/Skills

  • Excellent programming abilities with MOSS 2007
  • High proficiency in Windows SharePoint technologies including SharePoint Server, SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Web Part Development, Visual Studio.Net, and SQL Server
  • Strong knowledge of other technologies such as XML/XSL/XSD, Web Services, and InfoPath Development
  • Very strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Very strong expertise in the architecture, design, development, and deployment of enterprise SharePoint solutions
  • Proven experience in multiple enterprise development and implementation/rollout project initiatives for global companies

    Bonus skills:
  • Experience with ERP systems including Financials, Sales Order Fulfillment, Mfg/MRP, HRIS and CRM/SFA applications, especially with Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0/2009
  • Great interpersonal skills, so as to successfully elicit comprehensive and detailed information from subject-matter experts, in both technical and business arenas
  • Mentality to deal with ambiguity and fast change and to adapt quickly and easily
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic attitude and ability to build strong relationships within the company and with external partners
  • Experience in a global company, having diverse stakeholders with different languages and cultures
  • In addition to excellent English, Mandarin or German language skills are very desirable
