Description
As a member of the AI-TE team perform Technical Engineer duties in the support of projects (large and small efforts). The setup and maintenance of different types of architectures in coordination with Tech Services. Provide frontline support for architectures including MQ Series, Sybase, UDB, Siebel, UNIX, Informatica and MQ Broker.

MQ Series/MQ Message Broker - WMBI broker toolkit, clustering and remote/local queues

. Strong Unix skills. Solid understanding of file permissions, groups, etc. Solid understanding of basic Unix tools/commands such as vi, grep, regular expressions. Familiar with reading, and understanding, unix syntax (e.g. reading man pages)
. Knowledge of Princeton Tools to import and export information.
. Websphere - Knowledge of environment, basic troubleshooting, and know how to make request for new environments.
. Generic IDs - Knowledge of standards, basic troubleshooting, and creation and maintenance of ids.
. Autosys - Be able to setup test environments and coordinate production job change.
. Intermediate to advanced scripting skills (KSH, Perl).
. Experience in writing SQL for Sybase and UDB DBMSs.
. Needs to be able to understand database objects such as schemas, create, store procedures, indexes, constraints and migrations.
. Responsible for identifying, defining, and modeling the technical infrastructure based on the application architecture for new functionality or new application development.
. This includes the integrated hardware, software, and communications components that provide the technical platform for the application solution and supporting data structures.
. Works with application engineer and Technical Services to provide a technology solution

Experience/Skills
. A journeyman level would be fully trained and competent in the role, but have less experience than the senior level person.
. Typically at least three years of experience in the role would be needed to reach this level.
. For emerging technologies the experience level may be less, but the ability to learn and experience in similar technologies would be present.
