Description
CDI Engineering is seeking an entry level MRO Buyer with at least two years experience to join our client team in The Woodlands, TX.

Long-term assignment offers competitive rate and benefits package. Local candidates preferred. No per diem or relocation offered.

Responsibilities:
- Perform MRO based purchasing activities for goods required to meet assigned manufacturing sites procurement needs.
- Oversee daily activity of site MRO requirement
- Receive purchase requisitions and coordinate the sites overall MRO procurement
- Oversee the MRO bid process
- Work with AP to resolve outstanding issues
- Ensure compliance of procurement process/policies

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years experience within Chemical Industry background (purchasing preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Proficient in MS Office Platform (SAP preferred)
