Description
Access Developer, Research Part-time minimum 20 hours to 40 hours maximum, to be worked over a 2.5 week period. The person in this position will serve as a consultant and assist the Project Manager in the development of the MS Access database for the web site review project. Work will be carried out under the direction of the Project Manager for the 2007 Web Review Project. Key Duties and Responsibilities Provide support for development of a multiple, concurrent user MS Access database, according to user specifications. Assist in the design and creation of the necessary forms, tables, queries, and reports as indicated in the user specifications. Test the to-be-created database. Transfer knowledge of updating and maintaining the database. Document steps in using the to-be-created database. Follow established processes and procedures. Work effectively in a team environment. Be able to make decisions independently to ensure the quality and timely completion of the database development. Qualifications Excellent MS Access development skills. Good knowledge of MS Office. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
