Job Description:
Database Developer (SQL Server, MS Access, C#, VBA, .Net Framework, MS Office)

Northrop Grumman is searching for a Database Developer with a strong background in both front-end database driven application development & back-end database design.

Candidate should have at least 5 years of MS Access database programming experience - developing both front-end and back-end solutions. Front-end development experience MUST include coding abilities in XML, ASP, ASP.net, C#, .NET Framework, MS Visual Studio .Net, VBA and have some very strong experience & knowledge of MS Office Suite

Will be directly responsible for the design of two or more enterprise-deployed databases. Experience developing performance metrics & charts is a MAJOR Plus.

Position requires strong project development skills with the ability to transition between requirements gathering, prototyping, software development and system rollouts.

Job Requirements:

. 5 years coding experience with MS Access (2000 & up)
. 5 years experience writing SQL Server stored procedures, transactional processes
. 5 years web development experience with XML, ASP, ASP.net, development with .NET a plus
. 5 years concurrent experience with database design and programming, middle-tier interfaces
. 3+ years experience with MS Visual Studio .Net (C# preferred), MS Office (Excel, Project & MS Access) VBA
. 3 years experience with SQL Server 2000 database administration
