Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Messaging systems management, performance monitoring and benchmarking, support and maintenance of server infrastructure
  • Implementation and migration of messaging environment to Exchange 2007 including planning/design of infrastructure and policy and process creation
  • Messaging disaster recovery with business continuity strategy creation, maintenance, and testing
  • Capably diagnosing and resolving complex system problems
  • Establishing policies and procedures for administrative activities and problem resolution
  • Defining and implementing security and auditing to provide industry best practices for compliance and protection
  • Miscellaneous as-needed tasks such as email archiving, use of 3rd party apps like RightFax, disaster recovery setup, etc.df-tc

    Experience/Skills

  • 1+ year of Exchange 2007 production experience - certification would be a +
  • 4+ years of Exchange production experience as a Sr. Engineer
  • 4+ years of Active Directory experience
  • 4+ years of Anti-Spam and Anti-Virus technology experience
  • 2003 MCSE Messaging expertise
  • Messaging High Availability solution experience
  • Firewall, networking and server\storage experience
  • Disaster recovery experience including backup\restore technologies and strategies
