Description
One messaging and business office subsystems migration to a MS Exchange environment. This includes managing the project to de-commission and shutdown All-in-One and its subsystems as well as the project to transition to MS Exchange for 18,000 users across the Agency. The individual must possess excellent communication and team building skills. The individual chosen must be able to manage concurrently all components of both projects from both from a technical and user perspective using the Project Management methodology. This will involve creating the project charter, scope and work plan, assessing and managing risk, communicating to stakeholders, controlling tasks and assuring the completion of the project on time and within budget. Some travel is expected.

Experience/Skills
Mandatory skills
At least eight (8) years of experience leading medium to large scaled information technology projects comprised of sub-projects and distinct deliverables.
A current Project Management Institute Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) Include a copy of the certificate.
Overall Project Management responsibility for an email messaging migration project for at least 500 users.
Overall project management responsibility for at least two application development projects lasting at least 6 months and involving an application system implementation for at least 3,000 users.

Some travel is anticipated.

DESIRABLE Experience
Overall Project Management responsibility for an All-In-One to MS Exchange migration project with a user base of at least 500 users.
Overall Project Management of an email messaging migration project for at least 3,000 users.
Overall Project Management responsibility for a project that shut down or decommissioned a large application or email system that supported at least 1,000 users.
Two years of technical experience in one or more of the core IT areas of Application Engineer/Architect, System Engineer/Architect, Network Engineer/Architect.
An in-depth knowledge of the All-in-One functionality.
A working (hands-on) knowledge of MS Exchange and Outlook Calendaring.
MS Exchange Administrator experience.
