We have an immediate need for a MS Exchange Transtion Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of Microsoft Exchange platforms and experience supporting infrastructure and customers in a large enterprise environment. Prior experience with Office Commincation Server, Sharepoint and Symantec Enterprise Vault will be a plus. Required skills include excellent troubleshooting and written/verbal communication skills. Applicant should have experience in a customer facing support role with demonstrated skills in dealing with complex technologies and challenging customers. Role includes the following repsonsibilies:



Facilitate transfer of support responsibilities for groupware infrastructure and support services for approximately 125,000 seats of MS Exchange, MS SharePoint, Symantec Enterprise Vault and MS Office Communication Server.



(a) Participate in due diligence data collection and knowledge transfer from existing support staff

(b) Document existing production platforms

(c) Document support processes in preparation for turnover to Steady State support staff

(d) Evaluate current platforms ability to support availability, capacity and performance SLAs

(e) Evaluate architecture against client's needs and industry best practices and identify gaps

(f) Assist steady state support team in assuming support responsibilities for production services



Some international travel may be required to perform knowledge transfer

Some travel to Houston or Chicago may be required to perform knowledge transfer
