The overall evaluation, design, implementation, sizing and upgrades of the structure of the Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, System Management Server, Windows Internet Naming Service, Dynamic Naming Service, and Health and Human Services Email. The environment includes Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2000, and Windows Server 2003 for all users and workstations in those environments..

Experience/Skills
1) Windows 2000/2003/2008 systems engineer who plans, implements, and supports Windows 2000/2003/2008 based MS Active Directory service networks.

(2) Will possess skills relating to the creation and implementation of Group Policy Objects in an enterprise environment.

Job Duties:

Require consultant with extensive experience with MS Group Policy Objects to perform the following tasks:

(1) Review the existing Group Policy Objects so the contractor can successfully implement the OMB mandated GPOs.

(2) Review current desktop infrastructure and user permissions so the contractor can successfully implement the OMB mandated security settings.

(3) Recommend an implementation plan for the OMB mandated security settings.

(4) Identify risks that the OMB mandated security settings pose to Operations and develop a mitigation plan for those risks.

(5) Document the final configuration decisions for the Agencies Group Policy Objects structure.

(6) GPO consultant will be responsible for providing with the following Work Products:

a. Risk and mitigation plan for the OMB mandated security settings.

b. A business process that will manage inactive workstations in Active Directory.

c. A business process that will identify and organize inactive workstations in AD, WINS, DNS, DHCP, SMS and ePO.

d. Implementation Plan for the OMB mandated security settings.

e. Documentation of the final configuration of the Agency-s GPO structure upon completion of the OMB mandated security settings.
