Description
Our client is seeking a Microsoft IIS Webserver Consultant experienced with design & security. The successful candidate must have 5+ years of experience in a client/ Server environment with particular emphasis on IIS design & Security, ASP .Net configuration, Active Directory, and Group Policy for Windows Security. Your duties would include working with an existing product to collect and analyze Web service requirements for test and production environments, infrastructure design, implementation, coordination of infrastructure deployment, identification of production support requirements, and development of production support processes, as well as documentation for configuration, procedural, and technical changes to the environment, 3rd level technical support, including participation in on-call support, and support for other departmental functions as required with a strong focus on IIS security issues in a domain environment. The successful candidate will work with Product Developers to identify and define application login improvements, Integration Engineers to define flexible system configurations and changes to support the design, Field Installation Engineers to resolve new installation issues as well as support and end users to resolve issues on installed system and upgrades to the installed systems.Requirements:Five+ years of engineering experience in a client/server environment, with particular emphasis on IIS design / security, ASP.NET development, configuration and management.Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Windows client-server networking and domain structure within Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows 2003. Strong troubleshooting skills in Active Directory, logon scripts, policies, client and network security, name resolution, and time synchronization services. An aptitude to identifying and defining best practices.Will require 25% national travel to customer sites for issue resolution. Travel costs paid for by client.Our clients interview process consists of a series of phone screens and a thorough check of technical references. Candidates local to the New England area, preferred.
