Description
We are seeking an MS SQL DBA/System Administrator to join our team in Arlington, VA. The DBA will be a member of Sapient's Government Services Business Unit financial system support team. As a a member of the team, the DBA will use his/her in-depth knowledge of Database Operations to deliver his/her work within the prescribed timeframe with the highest degree of accuracy, thoroughness, and efficiency. The Senior Associate Specialist works collaboratively with the project team members in an highly energetic and collaborative environment.

Job Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship

BA/BS degree

  • 4 - 6 years related experience;
  • Participation in several Designs or Implementations;
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills;
  • High degree of organization and ability to prioritize effectively in an unstructured, ambiguous environment;
  • Understanding of all database parameters;
  • Previous experience creating database design;

    Additional requirements:

    MS SQL Server database administration
    MS SQL Server coding (stored procedures, etc.)
    Application management (support) experience
    Willingness to learn Deltek and Cognos
    US Citizen based in the US (preferably Arlington, VA)

    Candidate will ideally have the following skills/experience:
    Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense
    Includes experience supporting Deltek data pre-processors
    *Deltek BPM solution (ReportNet, Powerplay, Executive Planner)
    Deltek System Administration
    Cognos
    Accentuate
    Experience with Financial accounting systems
    Experience with US federal government prime contractordf-tc
