Robert Half Technology's client in downtown Denver is seeking a Database Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This position is fully responsible for installation of the database software, new releases and upgrades, and supporting products. This role will also maintain databases to current security standards as well as develop and maintain a backup and recovery strategy.

Experience/Skills
Key Responsibilities:- Installation of the database software, new releases and upgrades.- Create and manage multiple databases.- Maintain databases up to current security standards.- Direct others within database development in relation to advanced database management procedures and diagnostics.- Monitor, tune, diagnose and resolve problems with the databases.- Develop and maintain a backup and recovery strategy for all databases.- Establish standards and procedures.- Data warehousing maintenance and enhancements to support business needs.Education and Experience:- BA/BS or equivalent, database management certification preferred- 5 years of Health Care Analysis and/or IT experience- Health care reporting including but not limited to financial and clinical- Data cubing and utilization of cubing technology
