Description
MS SQL Server, DTS, Stored Procedure developer to program data transmission and translation processes to support the FinArch implementation for Regulatory Reporting and Basel II Compliance. Responsibilities include: - Establish data transformations, standards and defaults - Define source to target mapping based on methodology requirements - Design and build data quality and reconciliation - Technical DTS (ETL) map design and testing - Design, architect, and test DTS (ETL) maps and error processing - Design, architect and test Stored Procedures for data translation. - SQL Tuning and performance - Usage of Analysis Server for ad-hoc reporting extracts Required experience and skills include: - A clear understanding of MS SQL Server and Database Architecture and its various components - At least 3 years experience working with MS SQL Server - Experience with the DTS ETL tool - Strong Relational Database background - Expert level SQL experience - Experience developing in a Windows environment - Knowledge of the Windows NT/2K/XP desktop operating systems - Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills Desired experience and skills include: - Background in Banking Financial analysis - Experience with Visual Basic Programming for development of ad-hoc data transformations. - Experience with IBM DB2/UDB databases and connectivity to these databases using IBM DB2 Connect PE - Analysis Server implementation and support experience No third partiesWe do not sponsorLocal candidates only
