Description
Responsible for designing and developing the installation architecture needed to support all of the client's software titles. Create both standalone and network deployable installations for products. Serve as the resident expert for all software installations, providing training and guidance to others as needed.

Create and /execute test plans and suites to test evaluate company software and hardware, incorporating both manual and automated testing scripts methods; recognize and document bugs issues and ; communicate work with developers to resolve them; coordinate with management to certify products are ready for release; evaluate and recommend improvements to the testing process; document and communicate results; and prepare related logs, reports and analyses. ; serve as lead tester for various projects as assigned.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in computer science and three years' experience in software development or an equivalent combination. Installation experience must include using Windows installer technology (MSI) to build complex installations.

Requires a college degree or coursework in an associate's degree in the computer technology or engineering related field and at least 1 year of testing experience, or an equivalent combination. Demonstrated knowledge of operating systems, hardware, software, databases systems and the ability to effectively communicate about these areas are needed. Experience with hardware testing and calibration software is a plus. Solid analytical, organizational, and communication skills are required as well as an attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Knowledge or prior use of GPS, GIS and Automated Testing is preferred.
