Our client is searching for an MVS Systems Programmer for a three month project
Will provide support to all aspects of mainframe processing with a concentration in operating system/product upgrades and Application Developer support
Must have in depth knowledge of
CA Endevor, CA Jobtrac, JCL, Cobol, Application development tools
Working knowledge of the following IBM software products
IMS 7.1, DB2 7.1, CICS TS 1.3+, VTAM, TCPIP
Working knowledge of the following hardware
IBM 9672, IBM B10 Tape Library & Virtual Tape, EMC, Symmetrix
Ability to install/maintain/implement/use 3rd party products such as
CA-Opsmvs,MIMS
Compuware- FileAid, AbendAid, Xpediter, Strobe
SAS- IT Secure Vision
Must have good communication skills and ability to create project/test plans
Provide technical support for all aspects of mainframe processing to the Application Developers and user community located at 7 geographic locations
