Description
My client is looking for senior software engineers that have a passion for creating a great user experience. As a member of the desktop software engineering team, your creativity, technical expertise, great sense of design, and excellent communication skills will be key factors in enabling you to successfully create our state of the art rich desktop applications.

Responsibilities:
Prototype, design, develop, test, and deliver components of our desktop applications.
Contribute to the architecture and design of our desktop applications.
Work closely with the SDK/Tools and Web Services teams to integrate their components and services.
Work closely with QA to ensure effective development of acceptance criteria and functional tests.

Qualifications:
Demonstrated ownership and leadership for projects and assignments; ability to work independently and in a team environment with a history of good technical choices and decision making.
Familiarity with modern agile development methodologies and test-driven, component-oriented iterative development practices.
Expertise in developing consumer-based applications and services that were successfully delivered to a wide audience.
Excellent OO development skills, as demonstrated by the release of consumer oriented applications and services.
Strong OO design and programming with Objective C (Cocoa) and the XCode development IDE.
Proven expertise developing Mac applications.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Nice to have, but not required:
Experience with UML and Design Patterns.
Strong experience with cross platform development.
Wrapping C-Level libraries into Objective-C.
Experience developing web-enabled desktop applications.
Subversion experience.
Working knowledge of PDF.
Quicktime, Animation and Leopard Experience.
