Our client has identified the need for Magic Service Desk enhancement and support of issues identified during the two years the application has been in production. Resolution of these issues is required for improving and streamlining business efforts thereforet is essential that Magic enhancements are implemented in a timely manner.Description: Augment the project and support activities of the existing staff and provide emergency support. Below is a partial list of deliverables. You will work with the Magic Administrator to provide services, knowledge transfer, and successful completion and documentation of the following:Provide operational and emergency support for Magic while on site.Assist with pilot installation of the Self Service Help Desk (Magic Client Services) add-on, and provide implementation recommendations.Design and construction of Work Order forms and procedures for work order generator.Create business rule(s) to build an audit trail for ticket touching.Design and build external client data structure.Set up TelAlert and associated and administrative procedures.Installation, testing, debugging, documenting and implementing of add on Business RuleDebugging utility software.Enhancement for controlled Magic Help Desk application closure.Set up Survey capability of magic and write associated procedures.Investigate and implement procedures for the Magic Mail Listener.Assess current Magic user security rights and modification of the manager security clearance as directed.Complete application assessment and recommend more efficient and streamlined practices and procedures.Potentially assist in version upgrade if a choice is made to upgrade during the contract period.Provide detailed monthly overall activity progress on task assignments and status reports to the Magic Administrator via e-mail on or before 3:00pm Central Time of the last workdayRequired Skills:In order to be considered for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria: Certified Magic set up and support Technical writing and documentation Windows Server 2000 Highly effective Oral/Written communication Oracle Database Administration
