APPLICATION ARCHITECT MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 1.The Application Architect must demonstrate ten (10) years experience within the last twelve (12) years in an IBM IMS DB/DC Environment including design and team lead experience in all of the following areas: a.Application programming on IBM mainframes using IMS databases; b.Data mapping and system migration and integration, Structured System Design, Data Flow Diagramming and Logical Data Modeling, c.Development of 3270 IMS screen displays using IMS Message Formatting Services (MFS); d.Development of COBOL IMS message processing (MP), Batch DL/I and Batch Message Processing (BMP) programs. 2.The Application Architect must demonstrate five (5) years of experience within the last twelve (12) years in all of the following areas: a.Application programming on IBM mainframes using relational databases; b.OS/JCL; c.TSO ISPF. 3.The Application Architect must demonstrate two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in the following areas: a.Technical writing creating system documentation related to systems development, system design, on IBM Mainframes running some combination of IBM system software including Z/OS, IMS/DB, and IMS DC, b.Experience designing and documenting systems in UNIX and Windows Computing Environments along with legacy platforms, including familiarity with distributed systems and N Tiered Data Structures., c.Experience working with relational databases, such as Oracle, DB2 or Sybase. 4.The Application Architect must demonstrate three (3) years of management experience within the last ten (10) years working with software tools for re-engineering and application mining, such as, but not limited to, Relativity Technologies and MicroFocus tools, with experience in prospecting and extracting business rules, consolidating and modularizing projects for systems on IBM Mainframes running some combination of system software including Z/OS, IMS/DB, and IMS DC. 5.The Application Architect must demonstrate three (3) years of management and technical experience within the last ten (10) years in the following areas: a.Technical expertise and direction in all stages of the development life cycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance., b.Systems and functional analysis including direct interface with Subject Matter Experts and Management., c.Conducting JAD and/or RAD Session with a Structured Development Environment., d.Managing teams that have consolidated systems and companies into one global system, including data migration, configuration and "go-live" planning., e.Leading and developing feasibility and analysis studies; and reviewing user and technical design plans., f.COBOL coding evaluation, including but not limited to code reviews, adherence to programming standards, and programming methodology., g.Personnel review, including but not limited to skills, capabilities and adherence to programming standards, and programming methodology. Descriptions of prior experiences must describe concisely how they aid Contractor in meeting the qualification for the current project.
