Position description:
We have a 3 month contract to hire opportunity for a highly skilled Mainframe Application Support Specialist. The main responsibility of the Mainframe Application Support Specialist will be the primary support for two (2) mainframe/DB2 applications. Secondary responsibility will be various project assignments, including:
-Learning new applications as well as new technologies.
-Working directly with the lines of business on production support tasks.
-Working on regulatory activities for applications as they arise throughout the year.

Experience/Skills
Required Technical Skills:
-SAS, DB2, Endevor, CA7, SQL server, COBOL and BMC Tools.

Desired Technical Skills:
-Visual Basic, C, C#, Lotus Notes, Java, Web Services.

This position requires that the applicant have a bachelor's degree in the field or a related field and 4+ years of experience.
