Mainframe Assembler Programmer

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Consultant must meet all of the following requirements:

1. Three (3) years of consecutive experience, within the last ten (10) years programming with the IBM Mainframe Assembler programming language.

2. Two (2) years experience, within the last five (5) years supporting applications having: data interfaces with least two (2) external systems, and modules performing at least five (5) distinct functional activities.

3. One (1) year experience, within the last five (5) years creating and maintaining technical system documentation. In order to support this requirement, provide with resume; examples of such documentation.

OBJECTIVE

Contractor will support Legacy Assembler Programs in an IBM Mainframe environment. Applications supported were developed beginning in the 1970's with the most recent application developed in the early 1990's.
Minimal changes to the applications have occurred in the past decade.
Additional technical resources are necessary at this time to maintain support levels for these legacy applications.
TASKS

=C6=92 Maintain /enhance batch applications written in the IBM Mainframe Assembler programming language.

=C6=92 Perform integration and regression testing and perform other applications development duties as needed.

=C6=92 Create and update system design documents, program documentation, and other documentation.

=C6=92 Perform technical troubleshooting and provide recommendations to Management.

=C6=92 Provide knowledge transfer to Technical Staff and document all work performed.

=C6=92 Work closely with other team members, openly share knowledge with team members and work in an environment with considerable oversight due to the sensitive nature of the applications.df-tc
