Job Description Skills
. Must have 10+ years Assembler programming experience along with knowledge of MVS supervisor services and data management facilities. Candidate should have experience processing dumps using the facilities of XDC or IPCS.
. Experience with the z-architecture and coding in MVS Internals, for example: accessing MVS control blocks using the subsystem interface and cross memory services.
. Proven working experience with storage devices
. Thorough and proven skills in error detection, debugging tools, fault analysis, including dump reading SVC dumps using XDC or IPCS.
. Experience using ISPF facilities (includes programming ISPF from assembler and writing panels, skeletons, etc.) is a plus.
. Experience working for a software vendor is strongly preferred.
. Bachelor's and/or master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
