Description
Position Overview
The top-level technical expert in one or more highly specialized areas of applications systems analysis and programming for Bank supported solutions such as RDS (Relationship Delivery System).

Essential Job Functions
· Acts independently under general direction.
· Provides technical leadership on complex projects.
· May act as expert in business or functional area.
· Formulates and defines system scope and objectives.
· Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
· Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
· Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
· Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
· May be responsible for multiple phases of a project.
· May have duties instructing, directing and checking the work of other applications systems and programming personnel.
· May have quality assurance review responsibilities.

Requirements
· Programming experience depending upon the supported business application:
} Mainframe – ZOS, COBOL , CICS, ROSCO, TSO, VSAM, ASSEMBLER, JCL, IBM Utilities, SAS, Endevor
· Good working knowledge of the Line of Business functions and operations for the supported applications.
· Able to direct and monitor work within a formal System Development Life Cycle process.
·PEP+ (ACH processing) knowledge would be a very big plus

Other Skills/Abilities
· Excellent communication skills at both the technical and business level.
· Able to organize, conduct, lead, and record meetings efficiently and effectively.
· Must be organized, able to see the big picture, and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
· Time management skills are a requirement.
· Team player and able to participate in large team projects.
· Project management skills and able to use Microsoft Project.
· High school degree with a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with applications development and analysis.
