Mainframe Developer - COBOL Developer - Software Engineer - Legacy Programmer - Cobol Programmer

If you are a Cobol Developer with extensive Mainframe experience maintaining software for enterprise federal government applications, please read on!

If you have worked with one of the following companies it is a plus! Caci, Saic, IBM, BAE, SRA International, Booz Allen Hamilton, Northrop Grumman, Praxis Engineering, Raytheon, General Dynamics, SGIS, CSC, Boeing, Halliburton, or Bechtel Group, please read on.

What you need for this position:
  • 5 years of development and deployment experience on Mainframe Z/OS 1.9 platform
  • COBOL programming language
  • JCL, Internet, ADSO, TSO, OLQ
  • HTML/DHTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Database analysis, design, and development using IDMS 16.0
  • Consulting experience preferably with the federal government
What you'll be doing:
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining software for enterprise federal government applications with rapid timelines and evolving requirements.
  • You will have the ability to collaborate in a team environment and work with developers, systems analysts and managers to deliver high quality software systems that will meet or exceed our client's expectations.
  • Performing full life cycle (SDLC) development including, analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation into a production environment.
  • Estimate and complete technical development tasks.
