Global Financial Institution located in New York, NY has an immediate opening for a Mainframe Developer(s) - Batch Optimization Workstream.

Experience: 5-10
Education: Bachelors Degree

Job Description:
Mainframe developer who will be working on batch optimization project, optimizing code, jobs, etc for better batch performance

Skills Required:
- Strong 8 years + experience in Mainframe technologies like Cobol, DB2, JCL , TWS, Syncsort, and VSAM
- Experience in CICS
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to evaluate and interpret end user information requirements, and to develop and implement appropriate technical solutions
- Self starter with the ability to work independently and in team situations.
- Ability to be flexible when dealing with changes
- Cooperative and enthusiastic team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
