Excellent analysis, design, development, and problem resolution skills

We're seeking an experienced try/buy programmer/analyst to support client's billing system, which is a DB2 based system. All developers are expected to work within the infrastructure and become familiar with the vendor's base system. Work includes maintaining existing code, driven by business and technical needs. The candidates selected will participate in the design, implementation and maintenance of the ongoing development and enhancement of system's functionality. This position may involve on-call production support of real-time CICS transactions and nightly batch on a regular basis.

This is a 6-10 month assignment before the in-house hire begins.

Experience/Skills
3-5 yrs of COBOL, CICS, and mainframe development work and related tool experience, especially JCL, Librarian, File Aid, Expediter, etc. At least 2 years experience with DB2 and SQL programming.
