Daily Update Bridge activity,
Source to Target Rewrite projects that have rolled into production (to replace daily bridge activity) and
Data Mart Rationalization projects as they roll out.

The Enterprise Data Services area provides data warehousing services.
The area is currently involved in transitioning the current Enterprise Data Warehouse from an IBM Mainframe DB2 environment to a UNIX Oracle environment.

Data Warehouse (ADW) group needs to support applications that have rolled into production including:
DB2 to Oracle migrations,
Daily Update Bridge activity, and
Rewrite and Data Mart Rationalization projects.
Recover missing data if system goes down.
Recover / restart failed jobs.
Ensure that scheduled job streams are completing successfully.
Ensure that job streams run on schedule.
Error log handling

TL, UNIX PL/SQL, COBOL, Mainframe JCL & SPF & DB2, Oracle, Ab Initio - Intermediate

Unix, MVS, Ab Initio, Korn Shell Scripting, COBOL, JCL, DB2, Oracle 9i, PL/SQL, CA Unicenter a plus.

Insurance Industry Exp is Plus.

Four years of information technology experience
At least three years of data warehouse design and development experience
The ability to constructively solve problemsdf-tc
