Assignment description Mainframe Legacy programmer analyst who will be responsible for the design, development and support of the production control, scheduling and manufacturing applications. Will perform modifications of technical designs and create, design, develop and or re-engineer these systems working in conjunction with the customer. Ability to develop program specs and lead small-medium group of developers. Must have recent heavy coding experience in IMS, DB2, Cobol and CICS. Please do not apply if you do not have all 4 skills. Must be able to develop test plans using Test Director. Experience in Manufacturing systems applications Production Control, BOM, Master Scheduling a must - automotive industry required. Minimum 5 years experience programming in batch Cobol and CICS using DB2 or IMS databases. Need to be able to dig into application code for debugging and doing analysis for system changes. Minimum 3 years analysis. Position located in Smyrna, TN at the Client's Manufacturing facility. Smyrna, TN is located 20 miles S.E. of Nashville, TN. Work must be done on-site.
