Description
Ajilon Consulting , a global leader in providing workforce solution is looking for a Mainframe tester with a focus to implement defined QA procedures to plan, design, implement, execute, evaluate and report results of software testing under minimal supervision for projects of all scopes.
This is a 12 months stable and funded contract with one of our major Pharma clients in Scottsdale. Great team of people to work with.

Position Summary
This position ensures the quality of IT products for business users by resolving business solutions. Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software. Carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements.

Minimum of 6+ years experience in applying QA/QC concents/techniques with one or more application development methodologies for object-oriented or mainframe enviornments.
Demonstrated successful completion of several small to medium scope projects and/or large scope prjects. Knowledge of and ability to apply a wide range of software test engineering concepts: testing principles and concepts, building a test environment, tracking defects and making corrections, and assessing testing status; tester's role in software development and acquisition, risk analysis, and acceptance testing; test management, planning processes, design, automation, performance & reporting. Experience with Mercury suite of testing tools (Test Director, WinRunner, LoadRunner, Quick Test Pro).
Other test tool experience preferred. Deep knowledge of and experience in a wide range of software test engineering concepts: testing principles and concepts, building a test environment, tracking defects and making corrections, and assessing testing status; tester's role in software development and acquisition, risk analysis, and acceptance testing; test management, planning processes, design, automation, performance & reporting. Experience working with/in defect issue reporting tools, SDLC/ISO 9000/CMMI required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar is preferred. If no degree, then one additional year of experience is required for each year of college not attained. High School Diploma or GED is a required
