Description
#73335 Early stage start-up software company needs a hands-on Technical Support Director/Manager to provide support, set procedures in place, grow and manage the department to respond to business demand as the company expands. Pre-release start-up software company just about to release beta version of the software.

- Start up the support function, be hands-on, grow and manage the department.

- Set up procedures and policies for handling issues and resolutions.

- Continually expand ability to handle issues using email, phone, web, etc.

- Set up issue tracking and case management system (currently using salesforce.com support functions).

- Be the sole support presence until business grows to require additional staff.

Requires:

- Start-up software company experience!

- Hands-on technical skills for supporting Windows-based software running on Microsoft IIS.

- Experience providing hands-on technical support.

- Background leading Customer Technical Support in a software company.

Salary to 120k plus options based on match on requirements and experience.
