Description
Responsible for the operation, design, procurement, installation, and maintenance of the radio-frequency (RF) equipment used in large-scale satellite downlink and uplink operations. Manage subordinate team members and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Analyze and evaluate new technologies and develop technical solutions that meet company requirements. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and problem resolution, and developing budgets. Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent plus at least two years of experience; or at least ten years related experience and/or training in an Earth Station environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree will be in Electronics, Engineering or related field. Must have a minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience. Successful candidate must have strong verbal and written communications skills. Ability to work with mathematical concepts including trigonometry and differential calculus required.df-tc
