Description
The TWDC Manager of Performance Management/Metrics is responsible for establishing and maintaining a culture of metric-based performance management and continuous improvement throughout enterprise-wide IT. Develops strong relationships with Sr. IT and business leadership to facilitate the development of performance and CI goals and manage and report progress made toward these goals.

Develops/ manages a team that will serve as a competency center for educating other IT groups within TWDC on how to apply best practices, benchmarks and performance management methods for continuous improvement using industry standard processes such as six Sigma and Lean to achieve their long and short-term goals. To support fact based decision making, this team will work with IT groups within TWDC to develop relevant IT metrics and scorecards to track progress toward performance goals.
Additionally, responsible for coordinating the development of IT customer satisfaction surveys and will work with internal and external resources to conduct the surveys. As the analysis results are made available, facilitates planning sessions to share the results and establish performance improvement goals and action plans.

Knowledge/Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in an IT related field.
  • 5 + years experience managing IT projects and/or IT Support Departments.
  • 3+ years experience in project management of large IT initiatives.
  • 2 or more years of experience leading an IT Performance Management or Continuous Improvement organization
  • 2 or more years of experience implementing IT Performance Management or Continuous Improvement programs
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage and supervise peers and subordinates

    Preferred Qualifications
  • BS/BA in an IT related or Industrial Engineering field
  • Proven project experience delivering successful IT scorecard reporting to a large, diverse company with multiple lines of business
  • Experience leading major transformation and change management programs
  • Experience within an organization with significant IT outsourcing relationships for both infrastructure and applications services
  • Solid financial planning/management experience
  • Experience in entertainment/media and consumer goods companies
  • Excellent selection, appraisal & development skills
  • Ability to analyze complex business/technical data and develop innovative solutions
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and leadership/supervisory skills.
  • Ability to focus/align organization around critical initiatives.df-tc
