Description
A well respected Cincinnati based company is actively seeking a Help Desk/Desktop Support Manager to join their team. The Manager will oversee the support staff and ensure that end users are receiving the appropriate assistance. The Manager will establish and manage service provider relationships including technology outsourcing solutions for support. The individual will also work with the business in understanding their objectives and how the support center group can assist them in reaching their goals. The individual will manage the selection, staff development, motivation, evaluations, positive feedback, discipline and on-going coaching of reporting personnel ensuring activities are performed within department policy. This is a great opportunity for a hard working and customer focused individual. Moderate travel will be required. Experience/Skills
Requirements...Requires broad knowledge in a professional or technical field, which is normally acquired through study beyond four years of college, but typically less than a Master’s Degree-level of study. Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience working within an IT environment with a focus on customer service required. Strong leadership experience with a customer service focus required. Ability to manage technical support people and measure through trend analysis on problem areas required. Excellent customer service skills required. Effective verbal and written communication skills required. ITIL Foundations certification preferred. Project Management certification preferred.
