Description
On behalf of a Casino-Hotel Resort in Alton, IL, Casino Careers Online is seeking a Manager of Information Security.

Responsibilities include:

This position is responsible for enterprise-level oversight and coordination of IT security related policies, standards, architecture, risk assessment, incident response and corporate awareness. Oversees business continuity, business impact analysis and disaster recover planning for the company.

Specific duties include:

- Develop, implement, communicate, maintain and enforce enterprise-wide IT security policies, procedures and standards.

- Identify, document and mitigate security risks and exposures including incident investigation and response.

- Serve as the primary point of contact and advise senior management on security issues including producing periodic management reports.

Requirements:

A successful candidate in this position must have a broad technical background in all aspects of network and desktop computing with over 8 years of IT experience and a minimum of 4 years of Information Security experience. Extensive knowledge of security related applications and architectures such as firewalls, VPN, anti-virus, encryption, intrusion detection and incident handling. CISSP, CISA, CISM or other security certification is required.

A successful candidate must have experience in identifying and mitigating security risks. A thorough working knowledge of Windows, OS/400 and UNIX operating systems, associated security architecture and administration functionality is desired. A strong knowledge of network security issues, vulnerability assessment processes and security solutions is required. Experience in conducting Business Impact Analysis and developing, implementing and testing Business Continuity Plans is also required.

Successful candidate must have a proven track record of leading numerous projects simultaneously, establishing effective priorities among competing requirements and meeting deadlines while demonstrating a successful hands-on approach to overseeing all assigned projects. Must possess administrative, analytical, time management, communication and decision making skills.

EDUCATION

Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience is required.
