Description
Our customer is a service organization, headquartered in Atlanta that is engaged in the distribution and sales of automotive parts, industrial replacement parts and other business focused on the business to business market. Their products and services are offered though a network of stores, distribution centers, and online sites throughout the United States and Mexico.

They are currently seeking a seasoned manual QA professional to join their team on a three month to permanent opportunity. The main focus for the contractor will be to test upcoming versions of our customer's legacy software application. The application is written in Java running on a Silverstream Application server being supported by a DB2 database.

Experience/Skills
The ideal candidate will have a very strong track record of developing, writing and executing manual test plans. The unique ability to understand business requirements, build solid test plans off of requirements, and execute test cases is an absolute must. This position requires an individual with a strong track record of execution, and the ability to seek out answers to tough QA issues. Strong manual test skills are needed, along with strong SQL skills to verify backend database commits. The contract will run for three months then may convert to permanent based on the discretion of the customer. The location is based north of Atlanta.
