Description
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



Analyze foundry lots for WAT, probe, and final test data, including both parametric and bin data. Identify exception lots as well as long term trends.
Correlate yield issues to manufacturing and/or product deficiencies.
Drive improvements at foundries. Collaborate with the foundry engineers to identify manufacturing-related root cause of low yield and implement solutions.
Drive improvements on products. Collaborate with PE/TE and Design to identify root cause of isolated product-based low yield and release changes.
Gather foundry performance metrics (Cycle Time, WAT & Probe Yield, Cpk of critical in-line parameters etc.) and generate quarterly scorecards for foundry partners.


MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION:



MS in EE or Equivalent, 1-5 years semiconductor industry experience.
Desire experience in working with external foundries for various submicron technology nodes. Knowledge of Analog mixed mode processes and modules is highly desirable.
Experience in solving process issues at various technology nodes. Must be able to work and interact with internal product and design groups.
Experience with MS Office programs as well as statistical analysis software (e.g. JMP, datapower, etc.) is desirable.
Must have inter-personal and communication skills to get assigned tasks completed within the designated time frame
