Manufacturing Test Engineer - Power Supply - Test Scripts - C++ - Python

If you are a Software Test Engineer with C++ and Python experience, and live in or within commuting distance to Petaluma, please read on!

What you need for this position:
- Recent 7+ years manufacturing/design verification test development experience.
- Extensive software development experience in Python, C++, or other Object Oriented programming language, preferably in automation.
- Experience with automated Graphical User Interfaces, such as WxWidgets, QT, or Tkinter.
- Experience with MYSQL or a similar database language is desired.
- Some experience with power supplies, inverters, or solar power preferred. - Familiarity with analog and digital hardware architectures and design principles.
- Developing Standards, Black Box Testing, White Box Testing, Reporting Research

What you'll be doing:
- Developing processes and automated test programs to ensure product meets quality and cost objectives.
- Determining test objectives and standards by studying design and manufacturing test requirements; writes manufacturing test plans and programs.
- Designs and implements automated test programs in Python to facilitate an effective manufacturing testing process.
- Reports test outcomes by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, summarizing, and displaying data; recommending design and/or process changes.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
