Description
SMARTSOURCE is currently in search of an Architect for at least a 1 year contract in the northwest Suburbs

Job Type: contract
Duration: 12-18 months
Start Date: ASAP
Normal Business hours

Technical Architect is responsible for the development and support of the JDA / Manugistics Suite
Implementation

Responsibilities:
Provide Technical Leadership in the development and support of JDA / Manugistics Suite
Lead in the Design, development and testing of interfaces and application enhancements
Maintain and support the interfaces and batch processes surrounding the JDA Manugistics suite

Translate Business Requirements into Technical Specifications
Utilize system life Cycle methodology to solve Business requirements
Evaluate and implement best practices

Experience:
5 + years experience with JDA / Manugistics Demand Planning
2 + years experience with JDA Version 7.2 or greater
Experience upgrading to version 7.4 or 7.5
Strong Knowledge of Oracle Databases version 9i or 10g
Expert in PL/SQL and Unix
Strong Supply Chain Planning
